I was able to go to The Promise Ramins Tour. So glad I went. Great singers and just enough concert with worship service mixed in!!! This is the main singer from Building 429.
I finally found the bridge that friends have taken photos at! Great fall photos esp since my kids were in shorts and summer dresses. But this is my fave shot!
First game of the season. This has to be my fave shot of the whole day. Gabriel followed through and scored the last goal of the game. Our team won 9-0 and Gabriel scored 4 goals!
The first awards ceremony of the school year was today. Victoria received a Citizenship award. She has been a great help to a new student in her class who doesn't speak any English.
Lillian had a sleepover with her friend Alexie. It was her second sleepover. We said that once she was 6 yrs old she could have sleepovers. She was so excited!
Some friends and I actually had a girl's night out. We went out for Sushi and then starbucks coffee. We all were glad to have a few hours with no kids and just have time to chat!!!
Krisco is now 4 months old!! He loves his pillow, though it's the second one. So we will see how long this one lasts. Good thing these are old pillows.
Today is Gabriel's birthday. I cannot believe he's 9 years old now! Instead of a party this year, he wanted a Ninentdo DS. I can't argue with that one, an easy out for us this year. lol
We went to The Outback to celebrate Gabriel's birthday. We went out a night early because hubby got home from work earlier than usual. Gabriel had ribs for dinner and enjoyed his birthday song and ice cream.
The kids like to spend Sunday afternoons vegging out with video games. I figure one day a week won't hurt them. lol Plus, it keeps them happy and quiet so I can enjoy Sunday's too.
I was trying to get hubby off to work this morning and heard the dog whimpering. I look in the office to find him on the chair! He jumped up there on his own and couldn't get down. Hubby said he wanted to play online like the rest of us.
We've gotten in the habit of playing board games on the weekend. Tonight we tried Yahtzee. Let's just say it was interesting to watch the kids play since they couldn't quite grasp the concept. Oh well, at least math skills are being reinforced.
