Well, both girls made it in!! They were so excited this morning when they went to see the list. Now to work on getting their routines a little more polished.

The girls were insistent about trying out for the school talent show. Victoria missed out last year so she made sure that I filled out a form for her. And then I think Lillian wanted to try out because Victoria was. So I got music together for them and their costumes and after school they auditioned. Victoria did her floor routine and Lillian made up a routine to ballet music she picked. Tomorrow we find out who from their grades are selected. I'm very proud of them for taking the initiative and the courage to get up there and try out.

I was craving chocolate so I decided to make a quick snack. I used marshmallows and dipped them in chocolate. They were very yummy and I think the kids enjoyed them more than I did.

Today was Gabriel's last basketball game of the season. He stole the ball, made a shot and even brought the ball down the court. I am secretly glad the season is over though.

I have two photos for today. Victoria got an award for school. She was very excited. Gabriel had Opening Ceremonies for baseball too. I couldn't go because of other commitments, but hubby went and took photos too. He looks small in this photo but he really isn't. lol

This is how my stairs always look. This is actually on a good day. But the trail usually leads up the stairs, to the bathroom and two bedrooms. How is it that stepping on it or seeing it all doesn't both the kids and only me???

I am on the hunt for new make-up brushes. I spent almost an hour in Target today trying to decide. I settled on this travel set by Sonia Kashuk. I read great reviews online after I bought it. But then found another set just like this one with a few more brushes. So now I'm torn on what to do. I think I will keep this one to throw in my purse. The only downside is the case is a faux leather type in cream which means it will probably get dirty quicker. I hate decisions like this. lol

I love my dyson!! I got some vacuuming in today and love how it picks up everything.

This is how the first day back to school was for Gabriel. He started running a fever late Sunday and again on Monday. Thankfully the girls went back.

We finally broke down and bought another DVD player for the van. Ours broke last year and we didn't see any worth buying. We found this one at Target and it did well. The sound was lower than our other, but headphones worked well.

This is the first thing I saw after we got off the plane at the airport in Kansas City. Sorry, but that does not give me warm and fuzzy feelings. I knew I had to take a photo as I was leaving the airport. lol

We went to the zoo today. It was a good time. It was quite funny because a lot of the animals were posing for pictures. lol I had to laugh because in one area that was open was this sign. Yet the animals were in cages, not roaming free. So it makes you wonder??? lol This photo is also going in my collection of frightning signs in KS.

My friend took us to Dave & Busters for dinner. Gabriel was in heaven with all the games. He kept playing one game where you try to pick up a stuffed animal. He won 7 of them!!!!

We had nothing but hassle and stress to get photos uploaded and printed out for this kit. First we tried Sam's. Well, after uploading and cropping almost 75 photos, the photo lab was unavailable online to send it to the store. We tried for hours to get that to go through. Then we went to Wal-Mart where their online place did the same thing. But it finally let us put them through. Then, some of our photos were cut off or we put the wrong dates on them. lol I have photos I need to reprint now.

I have become addicted to solitaire on the computer. I love that I can play it and it's pretty mindless. lol Hubby has been commenting on how I'm always online. So today he was watching me and then before you know it, he's hooked too.

A storm rolled in today. I was not in a good mood at all. The kids were fighting, I took everyone to church alone and didn't feel like doing anything. So I didn't take any photo for today. Oh well, no biggie. lol

The school called today saying Victoria threw up and her temp was 99.1. So they sent her home. Fridays are usually date day. Hubby is off so we have breakfast or lunch. Well of course Victoria get "sick" at lunchtime. So she came with us. And as you can see she suddenly recovered enough to have wings.

I was unpacking and cleaning up my area this morning. I really need to go through all my stuff again and weed out items I don't use.

It has been quite warm the past week. I noticed the temp on my way to take Victoria to gymnastics. This is in the evening!

Lillian loves to play barbie.com. There are fun games and activities to do. The best part is hearing her laugh while playing.

I have done so much laundry today and still not done. And I ran out of Tide, so I will be finishing the rest tomorrow.
