Day 26 & 27
I won't be posting any photos or journaling for these two days. We've had a family situation that I don't feel comfortable posting about. We are home and everything will be ok.

So my plan today was to scrapbook. Of course that didn't happen. Instead I spent most of the day looking for photos. lol I have this frame I wanted to finish up and get on my wall. Can you believe that in the 10 yrs we've been together we have one photo of my inlaws together??? And I couldn't find the negative either. So I had to make a copy and is now at WalMart. And then I couldn't find more vertical photos of the kids. So once again my frame is not complete. Oh well, at least it's started. lol

Update:
Ok so I thought I didn't have a photo. And then my friend reminded me that I spent a good time waiting for a scan to get done. For some reason I deleted photos from my computer that I took for her. And of course of all the photos she needed, those are the ones I don't have anymore. I'm still determined to find them though. lol
I didn't take a photo today. There really wasn't anything that caught my eye. It rained on and off. But I didn't get to enjoy it. I had ballet class, came home and showered. Then went grocery shopping and picked up Subway. By the time I got home, it was time to get the kids from school. And that was pretty much my day.

Thursdays are usually set aside for scrapping with a friend. I can't say I get a lot done. But I feel that if it's on the calendar and I'm at someone else's home, maybe I will break out of my rut. So far each week I get a little closer. I enjoy our scrapping day as it's also chatting time. My friend still has two little ones at home which I know is hard for her at times when she is trying to scrap. But their sweet presence doesn't bother me one bit and I love knowing I'm not the only mom with kids vying for attention when I am trying to get things done. lol It's refreshing and part of being a mom.

I was reminded today that I'm starting to get old. lol I don't mind the number each year. Which this year I turn 30. And yes I can already hear those comments of "You're just a baby." But I don't like that my body is saying I'm aging. I've had a few white hairs since I was 20. But now they are everywhere. Pretty soon I'm going to have to start doing something about it. Plus, white hairs against my other dark hair doesn't give me much room to blend them in.

Today was basketball practice for Gabriel. Now the agreement was that I didn't have to participate in this sport aside from games. LOL That didn't last very long. Hubby had to work so I had basketball duty. Now let me say that I didn't enjoy playing basketball in Jr High and being there brought back all those yucky memories. Not to mention I had two girls who didn't want to sit there and lots of loud noises in the gym. Gabriel did well though I can see some areas we need to work on. He's having fun and that is the main thing. Hopefully this is my last practice and the outdoor sports are looking better and better.

After cleaning out my scraproom yesterday, I realized that I can't hold onto years of my favorite magazines. I have never been one that could rip pages out, but I don't have much of a choice. I have found that I only am keeping a few pages from each one I go through. And the leftover mags are getting recycled. lol I stopped by Sonic for hubby and now ripping pages while sipping on a nice drink.

Day Four
The kids got a new trampoline for Christmas because their other one broke. Well, let me tell you that it's the trampoline from hell. And I'm not joking either. It was almost 6 hrs and I'm still not done. The last one was maybe an hour and half tops. My arms hurt from putting the springs on. Seriously, I can hardly move them now. I still have the "weave" this string through the net and the D-rings. So just a suggestion if you ever get one of these, have your husband and his guy friend put it together. I can do a lot of things on my own, but this is not one you want to do.

Day Three
I'm trying to get the kids back on a regular sleeping schedule. When there isn't school, I really don't mind if they stay up late. It's a nice benefit for me. lol Anyway, Lillian decided to take a "nap" at like 7pm tonight. So I can really see how she will be willing to go to bed in just a bit, NOT!

Day Two
One of the things I love and cannot wait to buy during the holidays are Candy Canes!!! Do not ask me what it is about them, but I just have to have them. I usually buy several boxes. We put some on the tree which the kids end up eating as they cannot let candy just be. lol And then I buy some to put in a red cup/bowl. I love how they look in the cup and it's easy decoration. So as the season comes a close, I say good-bye to my peppermint candy!

Day One
Project 365
I know I've posted and emailed this info already. But each blog must have a beg. lol I'm a sucker for kits so when I found out about this brand new kit of course I wanted to get it. What is even better is that it's super easy and something that I can see myself finishing. Plus, my photography skills will hopefully improve. This will be in addition to my reg scrapping. I will be taking a picture everyday all year long. Some days will just be a photo and other days will have journaling.
