I spent a good deal of time on the phone with the hospital over a bill I shouldn't have received. I talked to many people and after explaining the situation many times, I finally got them to understand that I needed the claim to be reprocessed with our insurance company. I had to actually take my explanation of benefits booklet to the hospital so they could see in writing what I was talking about. The man I spoke to was very nice and put in a request to have my bill written off.
